A grim farm accident occurred just north of Flensburg, MN, leaving a 22-year-old man severely injured. The Morrison County Sheriff's Office reported that Albin Oldakowski of Little Falls was run over by a tractor he was helping to pull free that had become stuck.
The incident took place near a residence off 85th Avenue in Pike Creek Township on April 9. Oldakowski was attempting to hastily work free a tractor and trailer with another tractor when he tragically got caught under the wheel of the tractor being pulled out, the Sheriff's Office stated in a report. He was subsequently run over by the heavy machinery.
Following the accident, Oldakowski was quickly transported to St. Gabriel's Hospital by Mayo Clinic Ambulance services. Due to the severity of his injuries, he was then airlifted to St. Cloud Hospital by North Air Care, with his condition still unknown.
The response to the emergency included multiple teams: the Morrison County Sheriff's Office itself, the Little Falls Police Department, the Swanville First Response Team, along North Air Care and Mayo Clinic Ambulance were all on the scene to assist urgently. The current state of Oldakowski's health remains unclear as of the latest updates from authorities.
