An Arlington PD motorcycle cop landed in the hospital following a smackdown with a civilian vehicle yesterday near Park Row Dr & Woodland West Dr. The officer, whose identity has not been disclosed, was transported to an area hospital but is projected to make a full recovery.
Chief Jones, along with other APD colleagues, went quickly to stand with their injured comrade. The tight-knit group found strength in humor, the Arlington Police Department revealed. "He's in good spirits and even cracked some jokes while they were visiting," the statement read. The community is now to boldly keep the officer in their thoughts for a quick comeback.

The car's driver stayed put following the crash, a move that at least spares them a hit-and-run charge. With the scene cordoned off, investigators dove into a deep-dive analysis, piecing together the incident's cause, which for now remains unclear.
The Arlington Police Department has asked the public to send their good vibes the officer's way, hoping to quickly nurse him back onto his bike. "Please keep our officer in your thoughts as we all wish him a speedy recovery," the department tweeted. As is routine, they'll look to swiftly close out the investigation.
