Arlington's Levitt Pavilion Unveils Exciting 17th Season With DreamFest and Musical Diversity GaloreSource: City of Arlington, Texas

The Levitt Pavilion is gearing up for its much-anticipated 17th season, bringing locals and visitors alike a diverse sonic experience, starting April 26-27. Sponsored by Baylor Scott & White Orthopedic and Spine Hospital Arlington, this season promises a lineup chock-full of talent including regional favorites and national acts.

The opening bash dubbed "DreamFest," which had its successful inception in the previous year, is brought to the community by the Arlington Convention & Visitors Bureau and, is the brainchild of Arlington Mayor Jim Ross. It's not just about the music — that delightful blend of sounds coming from Memphis Soul and the Tejas Brothers, it's also a food truck haven, a vendor hotspot, and an all-out family-friendly extravaganza. This block party starts on a beat-pumping Friday night and rolls into a rhythm-infused Saturday, according to the City of Arlington, Texas.

With an eye for variety, the Levitt season is spread across three distinct legs: Spring, summer, and fall. Each comes packed with its flavor of cultural celebrations like the Arlington Juneteenth Celebration and Hispanic Heritage Celebration. But worry not, digital dwellers, if you can't make it to the lush greens of the Levitt lawn, all the action will also be beaming live directly to you, courtesy of Facebook and YouTube streams. A little birdie, in this case, Levitt Arlington's executive director Letatia Teykl, told the City of Arlington, Texas that "this year's season may be our best yet."

In what can only be described as a robust musical platter, the lineup features Vandoliers, Solido, Kaitlin Butts, and Black Joe Lewis & The Honeybears, among others. Besides the audio bliss, you can also gorge on a variety of eats from the Levitt food truck fleet which includes goodies from Flying Pig, Holy Frijole, and Lovin’ U BBQ. Plus, high spirits — as in beer, wine, and spirits — are served up by J. Gilligan’s. Never a place to rest on its laurels, Levitt is introducing a new segment to amplify local talent where student musicians from the DFW area will enchant crowds before the main acts on Friday nights.

For those who haven't had the pleasure, Levitt Pavilion Arlington is nestled at 100 W Abram in Founders Plaza, serving as a cultural fulcrum amid city life, just a hop away from Arlington City Hall and UT Arlington. For a full dive into their seasonal offerings, you can head over to their website, which is stocked with more details than a picnic basket on concert night.
