The outlook for Austin's weather this week suggests cooler conditions to kick off, with temperatures gradually climbing alongside humidity levels. Today Austinites can enjoy a predominantly sunny day, and a comfortable high of around 74 degrees, followed by a clear night with a low dipping to about 54, according to the National Weather Service.
Slightly warmer today with temperatures topping out in the 70s. Skies will be partly cloudy for most areas.

Building on to the current conditions, KXAN reports a similar weather pattern for Tuesday, maintaining "comfortable afternoon temperatures (70s), low humidity, light winds, and a sky of sunshine and puffy clouds." However, residents should brace for a shift come midweek as humidity is slated to make a strong comeback, bringing cloudier skies and sputters of drizzle Wednesday and Thursday, albeit with minimal accumulation.
Inconsistent weather patterns are expected to persist throughout the week, with mostly cloudy days and slight winds. Late-night revelers on Thursday should be ready for warmer breezes with gusts occasionally reaching up to 30 mph, as per the National Weather Service. Those gusty winds are set to usher in the next possibility for more substantial rain showers and thunderstorms starting Thursday night and into Friday, yet there's only a 40 percent chance of that materializing according to current predictions.
The latter half of the week continues in a similar vein, with balmy evenings, gusty south winds, and rising nighttime temperatures approaching the low 70s, Friday and Saturday nights included. KXAN adds that "The long-term outlook points towards a wet end to April." So while the city could see, intermittent rain and storms over the weekend chances are comparatively low, with a 20 to 30 percent likelihood of any rain or thunderclaps disturbing weekend activities.
