At 10:00 a.m., the focus shifts to the insect world with a talk titled "What Good Are Bugs?" A Master Gardener will take the stage to explain the crucial roles beneficial insects play in our ecosystem and how they can be allies in minimizing the use of harmful insecticides in our gardens.
Continuing the momentum, an 11:00 a.m. presentation will shine a light on the robust array of Texas native and adapted plants suitable for North Central Texas' challenging climate.
