A Glendale man was cuffed after trying to sell off hot merchandise pilfered from the city's park service, authorities said Monday. William Kingsland, 43, was nabbed by deputies as he hawked clothing and shoes - items traced back to a burglary at a Needles Parks and Recreation facility.

The San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department reported that the theft occurred sometime between the night of April 8 and the morning of April 9, at the business located on the 1500 block of Hospitality Lane. Kingsland, who hails from Glendale, CA, was caught in the act on April 12 during a sale at Duke Watkins Park, where officers found him with goods matching the description of the stolen items, officials said, as reported by the SBSD - Colorado River Sheriffs Department.

After being taken into custody, Kingsland was shipped off to the Colorado River Station jail. He's being held on a $30,000 bail, waiting for his day in court on burglary charges, as per SBSD - Colorado River Sheriffs Department.
