It was road rage that spiraled out of control in Harris County on April 27. Deputies rushed to a tense scene on Cypresswood Drive after a call came in reporting an aggravated assault involving a firearm. The victim, shaken by the encounter, had the wherewithal to note the attacker's license plate, which she handed over to law enforcement, according to a statement obtained by Constable Mark Herman's Office on Facebook.

The deputies, diligent in their pursuit, made their way to the registered address of the license plate. There, they found Michael Ryan Lagrone, the man who was about to find himself on the wrong side of the law. Despite pleading his innocence, the presence of a firearm in his possession told a different story, leading to his arrest.

"Michael Ryan Lagrone was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon. His bond was set at $20,000.00 out of the 338t District Court," Constable Mark Herman noted in a press release. The legal gears are now in motion as Lagrone faces the serious charge under the Texas Penal Code, which could lead to significant prison time if he is convicted.
