Homicide detectives are in the thick of an investigation following a chilling murder in Highland, where a 41-year-old man was found dead from a gunshot in the wee hours of Wednesday morning. The victim, identified as Garron Hathale, a Highland resident, was discovered lifeless on the street; he was pronounced dead at the scene, leaving behind more questions than answers, according to the SBSD - Headquarters.
The call came in at approximately 3:12 a.m. April 10, to the 7300 block of Sterling Avenue after nearby residents heard what they feared were gunshots, sending deputies scrambling to the location where they found Hathale, and despite a neighborhood sweep by law enforcement, no witnesses have come to the forefront and as of now the suspect remains unknown, at large hiding in plain sight.
With little to go on, the Sheriff's Specialized Investigations Division – Homicide Detail has taken charge of the probe, appealing to the public for any fragment of insight that could lead them to those responsible. Published on the Sheriff-Coroner's webpage, a plea for help reads, "Anyone with information regarding this case is asked to contact the Homicide Division at 909-890-4904," in the hopes that someone, somewhere knows something that could crack the case wide open, as per the SBSD - Headquarters.
