Authorities in Harris County have apprehended one-half of a duo accused of nabbing over $8,000 worth of cosmetics from HEB stores. Constable Mark Herman's Office announced the arrest of Roseaneezja Fredrick, who, alongside a 13-year-old male, allegedly engaged in an organized theft ring targeting several area locations, as per a Facebook post detailing the bust.
Following an in-depth probe, deputies struck gold, positively identifying Fredrick and her underage accomplice who is still on the run with warrants flapping in his wake; Fredrick, swept up by the law, now sits behind bars at the Harris County Jail, with her court and bond details pending, not yet determined. The investigation's tentacles reached through the weave of several HEB stores—a Texas grocery staple—where the larceny unfolded, reports reveal.
While Fredrick is currently cooling her heels in the clink under the serious charge of Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity her alleged partner in crime—a minor whose name has been withheld due to his age—evades capture.
"Roseaneezja Fredrick was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity. Her court and bond information have not been set at this time. The juvenile male is still wanted by law enforcement," a statement by the Harris County Constable Precinct 4.
