Tensions flared at a Houston-area gas station last Saturday when a dispute over a parking spot turned violent. Reports from the scene at Murphy's gas station located in the Walmart parking lot on 26207 Northwest Fwy detail a harrowing confrontation involving a woman, identified as Stacey McGowen, wielding a pink gun and allegedly threatening the lives of other patrons over a spot at the pump.
According to authorities, witnesses at the site claimed McGowen became irate over the parking situation and escalated the confrontation by brandishing the firearm and yelling, "Y'all don't want to lose your life over this!" The victims, fearing for their safety, took note of the license plate of McGowen's vehicle, which ultimately led to her apprehension.
In a statement obtained by Precinct 4 Constable's Office, Constable Mark Herman announced, "Stacey McGowen was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Aggravated Assault." As the investigation continues, details surrounding the motive and the altercation's specifics remain scant.
