The Harris County Sheriff's Office has not yet provided details on the cause of the accident or the man's current condition.
ATV-related injuries are not uncommon, both in rural settings and on public roads which have been not designed for such vehicles, they are frequent scenes of such tragic events. Health experts have long warned about the dangers associated with ATVs, urging riders to exercise caution and use appropriate safety gear.
The Sheriff's Office continues to investigate the specifics of the crash. They are asking anyone who might have witnessed the accident or has any information to come forward to help piece together what led up to the critical injury of the man involved.
