Not 24 hours had passed before the perpetrator struck again. This time, the suspect targeted a business in the 900 block of 17th Street, Northwest on Thursday. Following a replay of the previous day's script, the assailant jumped over the counter at around 2:45 p.m., pushed an employee stationed at the register, and took off with an undisclosed amount of cash. The incident has been filed under case number 24050321.
On Friday morning, an employee thwarted what could have been the third successful robbery of this spree. The suspect attempted around 7:40 a.m. to vault over the counter and access the cash register, but was stopped before any property could be obtained. Nevertheless, the suspect fled before they could be apprehended and has been linked to the two prior robberies. The case number for this attempted robbery is 24050645.
