Thieves broke into a Northwest DC home earlier this month, and the Metropolitan Police Department is now seeking help from the public to catch the culprits. On April 13, the PD reported that three individuals were caught on video burglarizing a residence on the 1400 block of Madison Street. The video of the suspects has been released in the hope that someone will come forward with information.

The burglary occurred in broad daylight, at approximately 2:26 P.M. when the house was empty. The suspects made off with an undisclosed amount of property, leaving the homeowners dealing with the aftermath of this violation of their private space. According to a statement obtained by the Metropolitan Police Department, the burglars fled the scene shortly after.

To assist detective work and possibly prevent further incidences, the MPD has turned to the community for assistance. They are urging anyone who can identify or locate the suspects to come forward and inform law enforcement.
