A fatal motorcycle accident claimed a life in Leander Wednesday evening, as confirmed by Austin-Travis County EMS. The incident happened around 7:04 p.m. in the 10200 block of Lime Creek Road, an area close to Travista Drive and near Jonestown. Despite efforts by emergency personnel, including Travis County STAR Flight, the rider was pronounced dead at the scene, as reported by KXAN.

Motorists in the area faced detours and were urged to seek alternative routes where possible. The identity of the deceased has not been released, as officials are presumably in the process of notifying next of kin, according to KXAN.
