Motorists in the area faced detours and were urged to seek alternative routes where possible. The identity of the deceased has not been released, as officials are presumably in the process of notifying next of kin, according to KXAN. Residents and frequent travelers along the rural stretch of Lime Creek Road have long voiced concerns over its winding turns and the perceived need for greater road safety measures.
