
Authorities are on the lookout for a robbery suspect who targeted a business in Southeast Washington, D.C. earlier last month. According to the Metropolitan Police Department's Sixth District, the incident took place at a store located in the 2800 Block of Alabama Ave, Southeast.
The Metropolitan Police Department reports that at about 6:14 a.m. on March 15, the suspect made a daring move by jumping over the counter. After grabbing cash, the individual hastily exited the establishment and disappeared from the scene.
In an effort to apprehend the perpetrator, the MPD has made a call for public assistance. They have also made available a video recording of the crime, believing it might aid in their investigation and eventual capture of the suspect.
The video of the robbery, showing a person of interest, has been disseminated in hopes that someone will recognize the suspect and provide information. The police are eager to close this case and are urging anyone with knowledge pertaining to the robbery, to come forward. The public can offer tips anonymously if they so choose.

The MPD offers a reward of up to $10,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for a crime committed in the District of Columbia.
