Multiple shootings left three dead and several injured in one grave evening of violence in Philadelphia, according to local police. Officials reported to NBC Philadelphia the fatal incident on Chester Avenue where a 20-year-old man succumbed to his wounds after being shot in the neck and back; he was pronounced dead at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center Friday evening, around 5:30 PM.

The chaos continued as a 15-year-old boy and a man in his early thirties were also victims in the Kingsessing shooting, the teen was hit once in the left buttock and the man was shot twice in the leg, police said they were taken to nearby hospitals and they are listed in stable condition according to information gathered by NBC Philadelphia. The scene, captured by a news helicopter later that evening, depicted the grim reality of yellow police tape and emergency vehicles near a corner store.

There was no respite as gunfire racked another part of the city before the Kingsessing incident, in Kensington, where 6ABC reports a 20-year-old man fatally shot around 4:30 PM on the 2300 block of East Harold Street. Alongside him, a 19-year-old man was injured and rushed to Temple University Hospital, currently in a critical but stable condition.

No arrests have been made in connection with these shootings, and police continue to investigate.
