An early morning fire in southwest Austin was extinguished thanks to the rapid response of local firefighters. The blaze, which broke out in the 8500 block of Elmont Springs Circle, was reported to have been swiftly brought under control by the combined efforts of the Austin Fire Department and Oak Hill Fire Department, as per CBS Austin.

The Austin Fire Department said, around 8:30 a.m. when their crew was actively on the scene alongside Oak Hill firefighters, working together to quickly to put out the fire, according to CBS Austin. The fire, whose location was near Yaupon Springs Circle and Summervale Drive, did not stand a chance against the efficient operation of the fire departments.

Details on the cause of the fire or any potential injuries have not been disclosed. Crews remained at the site following the extinguishment of the flames to overhaul the scene and ensure no further risks were present.
