In a twist of fate, a routine motor vehicle accident led to the apprehension of a wanted individual in Harris County. Deputies from Constable Mark Herman's Office rushed to the scene of a crash on the 6000 block of FM 2920 on April 14, where they encountered Judy Jones, the driver responsible for the accident.

During the investigation prompted by the crash, it came to light that Jones was carrying more than just the weight of the incident. With an open Felony Warrant for Tampering with a Government Document looming over her head, deputies realized they had a significant suspect on their hands.

Constable Mark Herman's office publicly disclosed the arrest. In a statement released on Facebook, they detailed the incident, "Judy Jones was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail for the open warrant. Her bond was set at $2,000.00 out of the 185th District Court."
