The San Bernardino County Sheriff-Coroner's Department is urgently calling upon the public to assist in the search for Kenneth Rethaford, a 78-year-old man reported missing from San Bernardino. Rethaford was last seen leaving his home on April 10, driving a white, 2021 Chevy Trailblazer with the California license plate 8XJU335, as reported by the SBSD - Central.
While authorities are to tirelessly continue the search, the department described Rethaford as about 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighing roughly 155 pounds, and has gray hair and blue eyes. He was last spotted wearing jeans and a dark jacket. Concerns are heightened owing to the fact that he left without his necessary medication and cell phone, elements crucial for his wellbeing and safety.
According to the SBSD - Central, Kenneth Rethaford's vehicle was most recently seen on a license plate camera early in the morning on April 11, in the city of Costa Mesa. This lead, however, has yet to culminate in his location, prompting expanded efforts and the appeal to the public for additional information.
Officials stress the urgency of the situation and are asking anyone with information regarding Kenneth Rethaford's whereabouts to promptly contact the Central Station at (909) 387-3545.
