A wanted felon was taken into custody after a routine traffic stop in Texas, authorities said. The incident occurred yesterday when a deputy, working under Constable Mark Herman's jurisdiction, pulled over a vehicle on the 7300 block of Spring Cypress Road.

The driver of the vehicle was identified as RC Deases, who, upon further investigation, was found to have an outstanding felony warrant for his arrest. The offense, stemming from Bee County, was for possession of a controlled substance, an issue all too common on Houston-area streets.

In the aftermath of the discovery, “RC Deases was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail for his felony arrest warrant. His court and bond information have not been set at this time.”, according to a statement posted on Constable Mark Herman's official Facebook page.
