A call concerning a dubious character prowling on Kuykendahl Road led to the swift arrest of a wanted man on April 8, according to authorities in Harris County, Texas. Deputies responding to the 21150 block were initially summoned by a local business to address the unidentified individual loitering on their premises.
Upon deputies' arrival, the business confirmed their desire to have the suspect removed from the site, and with their intervention, he was quickly identified as Eric Reed, the man discovered to have a noose of law already looped around his neck—an outstanding warrant for Resisting Arrest, reported by Constable Mark Herman's Office.
In swift succession, Reed found himself handcuffed and subsequently booked into the Harris County Jail facing the charge he had previously evaded, the arrest warrant came alive with his capture, Constable Mark Herman in a public statement described the unfolding of the event, he said, "Eric Reed was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Resisting Arrest."
Awaiting a bond ruling which will conclude in County Court 14, Eric Reed's future now hangs in the balance of the legal system. His transgression, once merely a sheet of paper, has anchored him to the consequence as he awaits the decision that could see him released, or further detained, the statement from the Constable's Office clarified.
