The suspect, Henry Fonseca, 65, a resident of Redwood City, has been nabbed and charged with grand theft, according to a press release from the department.

The theft, which threw a wrench into the wedding plans of the anonymous bride-to-be, occurred in the evening between 8:24 and 8:46 PM on April 11h on Adams Street. The community, shaken by the brazen theft, was urged to come forward with information that could lead to the identification of the thief. The police department released images and video of the suspect, appealing to the public for assistance. The tip line was ringing off the hook with leads, as indicated in the original press release.

Lieutenant Nick Perna, Investigations Commander of the Redwood City Police Department, confirmed the successful conclusion of this case.
