
A high-speed car chase across county lines came to a daring conclusion this past Thursday evening. the pursuit started in Coon Rapids and continued into Brooklyn Park, coming to a head when the suspect's vehicle was deemed too dangerous to continue chasing near Noble Ave, according to the Anoka County Police Department.
The chase began around 7:38 PM when officers joined forces with the Anoka County authorities to stop a fugitive driver. The suspect led a harrowing dash, running his vehicle westbound on 85th Ave from Highway 252. Despite the best efforts of the police, they were forced to terminate the pursuit as it barrelled through the streets, leaving officers with no choice but due to the suspect's reckless maneuvers.
The law enforcement's determination, however, paid off eventually. The runaway vehicle was spotted again in an area within the Coon Rapids jurisdiction. As reported by the Anoka County Police Department, not long after it was located, Coon Rapids officers successfully apprehended the driver, concluding the chase that rippled through Western Anoka County.
