A 19-year-old East Palo Alto man has been arrested on suspicion of having unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor under the age of 14, Redwood City police announced yesterday. According to a press release issued by the Redwood City Police Department, detectives responded to a tip regarding Dandre Gomezvillagomez engaging in sexual relations with a juvenile female in Redwood City.
During their investigation, the detectives were able to track down Gomezvillagomez quickly. They apprehended him and executed a search warrant at his home on the 100 block of Buchanan in East Palo Alto. The revelations uncovered during the arrest are still under close scrutiny as the authorities try to piece together the events leading to the suspect's apprehension.
Gomezvillagomez is currently booked at San Mateo County Jail, facing multiple felony charges. The case is still active, and detectives are keen on discovering if more victims are involved.
