A man has been slapped with charges after allegedly turning violent during a disturbance on Point Pendleton Drive, authorities said. Deputies from Constable Mark Herman's Office were called to the 8300 block on May 29, 2024, where they confronted Daniel Williams, accused of attacking another man with a baseball bat before making an escape.
Despite having fled the scene, the suspect was tracked down and apprehended by the lawmen. Loaded down with an active warrant for Assault on a Public Servant Parole Violation, Williams didn't go quietly—he reportedly began to kick around once confined in the patrol car.
"Daniel Williams was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail for Aggravated Assault, Assault on a Public Servant, and the Assault on Public Servant Parole Violation Warrant," stated Constable Mark Herman in a Facebook post. Details regarding his bond and court appearance remain up in the air.
