The incident occurred around 5:25 p.m. near 945 West Little York Road, HPD officers arrived to find the victim, a 28-year-old man whose identity has yet to be confirmed by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences, unresponsive on the pavement after having been shot multiple times, Houston Fire Department medics declared him dead at the scene.

Investigators have described the wanted man as an African American in his early 30s, donning light blue jeans, his getaway vehicle is a tan four-door sedan showing considerable damage to its front and rear bumpers, the City of Houston News released the images that can help in identifying the suspect.

Details gathered at the crime scene suggest that the victim and the assailant may have engaged in an altercation earlier that day, leading to the tragic outcome where the suspect unleashed a hail of bullets on the victim and then sped away in his car.
