Jeff Dulac, a stalwart of tech and innovation within the Minnetonka community, has been graced with the 2023 Spirit of Minnetonka award, solidifying his status as more than just an IT guru, but a beacon of dedication in public service. According to a recent announcement by the City of Minnetonka, Dulac, the Network Administrator, stood out for his "expertise, can-do attitude, and myriad of accomplishments" over a 28-year tenure that began when he was a mere 16-year-old cablecaster.

"He’s one of the most committed people I’ve ever seen at the city," Public Works Director Will Manchester told the organization during the ceremony. The longevity of Dulac's career has turned him into a vast repository of institutional knowledge, often the first call when a challenge arises or historical insight is required. "It’s not uncommon, because of his years of service, for individuals to say, ‘Hmmm. I’m not sure where to find that. I’m going to call Jeff,'" IT Manager Patty Latham recounted in her experience with Dulac's integral role within the city's operations.

Project management and network maintenance are currently at the forefront of Dulac's work, integrating essential city landmarks like the new public safety facility and The Marsh with cutting-edge IT infrastructure. Delving into his daily grind, Dulac expressed his appreciation for the "family environment" he’s known at Minnetonka and for the professional growth it has facilitated. "My job has many facets from audio/visual to network management," he said.
