Chaos ensued in Mesa yesterday morning as a motorcycle and a car collided, and an ambulance, sent to the scene, was subsequently involved in a separate accident. According to ABC15, the initial crash occurred just before 9 a.m. near Baseline and Alma School roads, with a motorcyclist rushed to the hospital in critical condition and passengers in the car sustaining minor injuries.

A subsequent report by AZFamily detailed that while an ambulance was heading to the scene of the motorcycle crash it was struck by another vehicle near US 60 and Country Club Drive, but this incident fortunately did not result in any injuries though Baseline Road was closed in both directions as the police conducted their investigations of the accidents which were a mere mile and a half apart from each other.

The Mesa Fire Department confirmed that no one was injured in the second collision, which involved one of its ambulances.
