Cops are on the hunt for a trio of bandits who smashed their way into a high-end store on Connecticut Avenue this past Saturday, making off with an undisclosed amount of valuables. The Metropolitan Police Department is combing through evidence and is urging locals to come forward with any tips.
According to the authorities, the incident unfolded in the 1100 block of Connecticut Avenue, Northwest, where two suspects shattered a display case to access the goods. After nabbing their loot, they were seen sprinting out of the establishment to an awaiting getaway car, driven by a third accomplice. The heist occurred at approximately 2:10 P.M. Despite the midday bustle, the thieves managed to vanish before the cops arrived.
