Thugs brandishing a firearm terrorized patrons at a Redwood City gas station during a brazen daylight armed robbery, authorities said Wednesday. According to the San Mateo County Sheriff's Office, the incident unfolded at around 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday when deputies were called to the ARCO gas station on Woodside Rd. following reports of the robbery.
The incident involved two victims who were accosted and then robbed of their personal belongings outside the gas station, the suspects subsequently made criminal threats and flaunted a gun during the heist. In a situation that would unnerve even the staunchest of hearts, those present found themselves ensnared in a nightmare of desperation and danger—a scenario where life's fragility was underscored by the menacing barrel of a firearm wielded with nefarious intent. The manhunt is on for the two assailants described by Sheriff’s officials; one is a Hispanic man with lengthy locks and his accomplice is a biracial male with similar hair and a modest mustache.
