The Philadelphia Police Department is on the hunt for two suspects connected to a fatal assault that occurred on Torresdale Avenue earlier this year and have now deemed it a homicide after the victim recently died from his injuries. According to official sources, the altercation took place on February 25, 2024, but its lethal outcome wasn't sealed until May 25 when the 40-year-old Hispanic male victim passed away.
In an announcement made by the Philadelphia Police, a reward of $20,000 is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the perpetrators behind what has now been classified as a homicide. The suspects, who have eluded capture since the incident, were both described by authorities as Hispanic, one male, about 30 years old, with a heavier build and a beard, and, the other a thin-built female in her mid-twenties to early thirties with braided hair. They were reportedly seen leaving the scene in a maroon SUV, which may be an older model Honda Pilot.
A third individual has been labeled as a person of interest in this case. Described as a light-complected Hispanic male, around 30 years of age and of medium build, he was last seen during the time of the assault wearing a jacket with "Agent" emblazoned on the back. The person of interest was also noted to be armed with a firearm, adding a potentially dangerous element to these proceedings.
The Philadelphia Police Department's Homicide Division is asking for the community's assistance in locating these suspects.
