Students at Plymouth North High School have rolled up their sleeves to honor the dedication and service of their School Resource Officers (SROs). In a true display of gratitude, two industrious teens from the school's Facilities Management program, Pat Quinlan and Mike Riley, dedicated four months to meticulously crafting custom vest racks for the SRO team.
Their handiwork was not merely a school project, but a token of appreciation for the officers who ensure safety and build community within the educational environment. Honored were Officer Ireland, Officer Smolinsky, Officer Eliason, Officer Scharath, Officer Wetterberg, and Officer Roth. The racks were personalized, a fitting nod to the individual commitment each officer brings to the job.
A recent social media post from the Plymouth Police Department showcased the completed racks, with a message of thanks directed at the officers for their service.
