Authorities in La Porte are combing the area in search of an 84-year-old man, George Richardson, who went missing on Tuesday. Last confirmed to be at his home on the 1200 block of S. Broadway Street, his whereabouts have sparked urgent concerns, particularly given his battle with Alzheimer's dementia. Richardson was spotted the same day around 4:00 p.m., but there has been no word since, according to a report by Fox 26 Houston.

Significant to the case is Richardson's car, a 2007 purple Ford Fusion with Texas license plate FGH8043, which was last seen roaming around Morgans Point. By midnight Wednesday, it appeared in Pasadena, at the 3900 block of Red Bluff Rd., as detailed by surveillance footage. Information about the missing senior has been filed in both state and, national databases, and a Silver Alert has been activated to aid in his recovery, News 4 San Antonio reported.

The La Porte Police Department is heading the search with Sergeant J. Plemons of the Criminal Investigations unit in charge. Officials stress Richardson's identification details: a white male with brown hair, brown eyes, standing 5 ft 11 in, and weighing 185 lbs. He was last seen clad in a multicolored short-sleeved button-up shirt, black pants, black shoes, and eyeglasses.
