Light breezes will give Portlanders a gentle relief from the daytime heat, shifting from the north-northwest at 5 to 10 mph in the afternoons. Tonight's low is forecasted to dip to an agreeable 55 degrees, with the north-northwest wind calming down after midnight, according to NWS Portland.
Come Sunday, the conditions will continue to please with a high around 82 degrees and light winds. Although clouds will start to gather Sunday night, they're expected to part by Monday, hinting at a cooler high of 71 degrees to start the week.
The rest of the week offers a consistent pattern of clear or mostly clear nights, with temperatures in the low 50s, while daytime highs steadily warm from 75 on Tuesday to a comfortable 80 degrees by Thursday and Friday.
