Wednesday will serve up more showers and thunderstorms, particularly after 2pm with an 80% chance of precipitation, and the dreariness will extend into the night with a 50% chance of ongoing downpours, bringing the potential for some urban and small stream, local flooding.
While Thursday might offer a brief respite from the wet conditions, it's only a slight chance of showers with a forecast of mostly cloudy skies and highs near the 73-degree mark. According to the National Weather Service, the cloudy weather is set to break partially come Thursday night with lows around 59 degrees.
The workweek ends on a warmer note Friday, with partly sunny skies leading into evening showers that are likely to kick in after 2 am. Saturday's forecast goes right back to showers likely mainly before 8 am and staying mostly cloudy with a high near 72.
