
It was a tip from an alert community member to the Department of Public Safety (DPS) that led to the capture of two individuals tied to recent criminal activity, one being a reported burglary and a home invasion incident. Acting upon the information received on June 14, DPS officers located the suspects, Elizabeth Marie Deberry and Haysautuh Albert Tyndall, at 602 South Front Street, as per an official release from the City of Mankato's Facebook page.

Haysautuh Albert Tyndall, identified as a 26-year-old resident of Mankato, attempted to evade law enforcement upon their arrival which initiated a brief pursuit, subsequently, he found himself cornered and in a swift move, discarded a loaded handgun when commanded by officers. Tyndall is currently facing a series of charges including fleeing an officer on foot and felon in possession of a firearm. He was also implicated in the first-degree burglary dating back to May 31.
Meanwhile, Elizabeth Marie Deberry, 33, also a resident of Mankato, was at the scene and apprehended based on active warrants alongside her suspected involvement in the same May burglary, according to the Facebook post, Deberry is also facing charges for first-degree burglary and third-degree drug possession among others.
