The Arizona Secretary of State's Office has issued a statement to inform the public about voter registration initiatives that are currently being conducted by external organizations, namely the Voter Participation Center (VPC) and the Center for Voter Information (CVI). These private entities have started sending voter registration forms to Arizona residents across all 15 counties as part of their effort to increase voter turnout for the upcoming elections.

Despite the forms not being the official State versions created by the Secretary of State's office, they are still valid under recent court decisions and legislative amendments and will be accepted by the County Recorders. The translations of these forms into Spanish were performed by an independent third party. "The Secretary of State does not endorse any political group or candidate," stated Adrian Fontes, the current Arizona Secretary of State, as per the Arizona Secretary of State's Office.

Arizona voters can expect to find these registration solicitations in their mailboxes around three major mailing dates: May 23, August 24, and September 15. If you're already registered to vote, you need not take any action upon receiving this form as your registration remains active. However, residents are encouraged to verify their registration status and update personal details as needed through the state's official platform.

Important dates to remember include July 1, marking the deadline to register for the Primary Election, and October 7 for the General Election, according to the Arizona Secretary of State's Office. For those not interested in receiving these forms, or wishing to halt future mailings, unsubscribe instructions are located at the bottom of the mailed solicitation. Alternatively, individuals can email [email protected] for VPC or [email protected] for CVI directly to request removal from the lists.
