The Campbell Police Department is looking for two suspects involved in a high-dollar theft at the Kohl's Sephora on June 11. At approximately 9:15 pm, the department reported that the masked duo entered the store on E. Hamilton Avenue, prying open a locked drawer and swiping an array of fragrances estimated to be worth around $5,200.
According to law enforcement, the heft of the campaign against organized retail theft across the Bay Area continues unabated, with this recent incident just a fresh example. Unfortunately, wearing face masks, the suspects' identities remain a mystery. With duffel bags in hand, they were seen forcing open the drawer before disappearing into the night with their ill-gotten gains.
The Campbell Police Department, recognizing the persistent threat of such incidents, has issued a reminder detailing steps for community members who may witness similar events. Community members are urged to "Call 9-1-1 as soon as you suspect a theft is in progress" and to "Take note of suspect descriptions (gender, race, scars, tattoos, etc.) and vehicle descriptions (make, model, color, direction travel)." The police also emphasized the importance of public safety, advising the public not to approach the suspects as they "could be armed and dangerous."
Anyone with information regarding the Kohl’s Sephora theft or who might be able to identify the suspects from the available video or photo evidence is encouraged to reach out. They can contact the Campbell Police Department's non-emergency line at (408) 866-2101 with any relevant details.
