According to a recent bulletin by Eden Prairie Senior Center, the class aims to teach safe online exploration a usage tips. Slated for Monday, June 10, from 1:30 to 2:45 p.m., this free session welcomes participants to register by June 7 under the code 371238.
In addition to tech-savvy pursuits, the Senior Center will host a Summertime Bingo event, promising an afternoon filled with themed fun where summer attire is encouraged. For those with wanderlust, the Landmark Tour Showcase on Monday, June 24, offers a tantalizing preview of travel opportunities both within the U.S. and internationally. As announced by the Senior Center's bulletin, the event details inclusive packages that include round-trip airfare, accommodations, meals, and attraction admissions, courtesy of Landmark, a local family-owned tour operator. The meet-up is scheduled from 10:00 to 11:15 a.m. and is free, with a registration deadline of June 22, code 371336.
Concluding the month's offerings will be the beloved annual Garden Party on Thursday, June 27. This tranquil gathering set amidst the exquisite Senior Center gardens, offers more than greenery, with treats such as custard, chocolate brownies, and toppings being served. Back by the demand of the attendees, the event features live music from the Eden Prairie Community Band Wind Ensemble and an unorthodox entertainment — minnow races, narrated by Josh Rockey.
