
Following a hit-and-run incident in Fairfield, the local police department successfully apprehended Saul Tolentino-Chavez, a 29-year-old driver who was later discovered to be under the influence. The collision, which occurred at the intersection of East Tabor Avenue and San Gabriel Street near Grange Middle School, resulted in injuries and prompted an immediate investigation by authorities.
Based on witness accounts, a description of the suspected vehicle was collated, which led to the quick identification of the abandoned car on Thrush. A short distance from the car, Tolentino-Chavez was found on foot and, according to official reports, showed signs of intoxication.
