The community of Hendersonville, Tennessee, has been alerted to the disappearance of a local teenager, as reported by the Hendersonville Police Department. Fourteen-year-old Sarah Schmidt was last seen at the Streets of Indian Lake shopping center on June 17, around 9:00 P.M., a fact confirmed by multiple sources including FOX17 and WSMV.com. The police are reaching out for public assistance to help locate the missing teen.

Described as 5′2″ tall and weighing 112 lbs, Sarah has black hair, and brown eyes, and was last seen sporting a black hoodie paired with brown shorts, black socks, and black shoes. The police received the official missing person report on June 18, the day following her last confirmed sighting. Standing as a white girl, the police have emphasized her physical appearance in hopes that someone might recognize her.

The Maury County Source added that recent photos of Sarah have been circulated with the press release to aid in her identification.
