The Broward Sheriff’s Office is now offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of the person or persons responsible for the tragic shooting deaths of Beatrice Saintvil and her 4-year-old daughter, Janell. In a briefing, officials revealed the increased reward in hopes to more quickly apprehend those behind this tragic incident. According to information obtained by NBC Miami, the shooting took place on Florida's Turnpike in Hollywood last week.

Florida Highway Patrol troopers initially responded to the scene near Hollywood Boulevard exit late Friday night, only to discover the woeful sight—a mother and her daughter with gunshot wounds inside their car, stopped on the left shoulder of the southbound lanes. While Janell was pronounced dead at the scene, Saintvil succumbed to her injuries at the hospital. “We want to know who did it,” Kyanna Librun, Saintvil's sister, conveyed her anguish in an interview with NBC Miami. “We want to see their face and ask them why. Why? A 4-year-old baby girl and 27-year-old mother who never had a problem with anyone, why? We want to know, why?”

The BSO Homicide detectives are making every investigative effort to swiftly bring the perpetrator to justice. As disclosed by CBS12, it's believed that the killings occurred approximately a half-hour prior to the troopers' arrival.
