
Tragedy struck in Houston's South Side area when a 10-year-old boy was unintentionally shot in the leg by a stray bullet stemming from a nearby altercation. According to FOX 26 Houston, the shooting occurred on the 7100 block of Scott Street, where an argument in a parking lot quickly escalated into gunfire.
Houston Police, who were promptly called to the chaotic scene, reported that one individual attempted to quickly take a shot at another during the dispute. Tragically, it was a child who was caught in the crossfire. This disturbing event unfolded as the community was looking to begin their day, only to have it shattered by a senseless act of violence. He was subsequently transported to the hospital and is currently listed in stable condition.
