The city of Houston is poised to be the next home of a luxury health spa known as WorldSprings, a resort that has already set its sights on a Dallas opening this month. According to state records from the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, a Houston location could soon offer the same range of body treatments, facials, and, most notably, outdoor mineral soaking pools inspired by global destinations such as the Dead Sea and the Banjar hot springs in Bali, as reported by the Houston Chronicle.

Projected to embrace a 44,000-square foot area, the Houston location of WorldSprings aims to provide a variety of wellness experiences, from skin-care rituals to thermally diverse pools. The spa's website specifies the inclusion of both adults-only and all-ages sections, taking into account, the different preferences in spa-going demographics. However, children under the age of four will not be permitted in the mineral pools, the establishment notes. With construction anticipated to start on September 1, 2024, the estimated $40 million complex is expected to open its doors in November of the following year.

The WorldSprings brand has already generated buzz with the imminent Dallas resort set to launch within days. Slated for a June 28 opening, the Dallas-located WorldSprings at Grandscape in The Colony is a 9-acre endeavor featuring 46 mineral soaking pools, eight saunas, and a 12-room spa facility, along with dining options at the Springs Kitchen and Bar. According to a news release, visitors will have the chance to soak in waters infused with a variety of minerals at temperatures ranging from 45 to 104 degrees Fahrenheit, as detailed by Community Impact.

“This venture represents not only a new chapter for our company but also a testament to our commitment to offering exceptional hospitality centered around making our guests feel better", Chris Barrett, CEO of WorldSprings said in a statement obtained by Community Impact. Houstonians can expect the same quality of amenities that the Dallas location promises, including VIP cabana rentals amidst a luxurious setting. For those eager to visualize what is coming to Houston, the Dallas resort could provide a clear perspective, ahead of the scheduled Houston inauguration celebrations.

While details about the Houston project are still emerging, a representative for WorldSprings was not available to provide additional commentary at the time of publication.
