
The Metropolitan Police Department is calling for the public's help in identifying a person responsible for a Misdemeanor Sexual Abuse incident in Northwest D.C. The event, which was reported to have taken place on March 30 around 4:35 p.m., saw a suspect engaging in unwanted sexual contact with a victim in the 3500 block of Whitehaven Parkway, Northwest. Following the incident, the suspect is said to have escaped from the scene.
MPD's request for assistance was made public yesterday, with officials releasing information about the misdemeanor abuse. Side-stepping the tranquility of early evening, an individual's sense of personal safety and autonomy was abruptly disrupted by the suspect before fleeing.
