
The Philadelphia Police Department has issued an appeal to the public, seeking assistance to help safely locate a 14-year-old boy, Norman Rivera, who has been missing since June 19, 2024. Rivera, who hails from the 2000 block of E. Stella Street, was last seen at approximately 12:00 p.m. as he left his home. According to a police report, the young male is Hispanic, standing 5 feet 6 inches tall with brown hair and brown eyes, and weighing 160 pounds.
At the time of his disappearance, Rivera was described to be wearing a black sweatshirt, black pants, and black sneakers. The authorities have been actively seeking to broadly disseminate information regarding his disappearance with the intention to quickly reunite him with his family. Members of the public with any knowledge pertaining to Rivera's whereabouts are urged to come forward and contact the local police. Every moment could potentially lead to quickly finding the teenager and assuring his safe return.
The community is asked to remain watchful and to report any sightings of Norman Rivera to the Philadelphia Police Department's 24th District by calling 911 or contacting the District's Detectives Division directly.
