The Brooklyn Park Police Department attempted to pull over a vehicle at about 10:42 P.M. near the intersection of 69th Ave N and Zane Ave N, according to a Facebook post by the department.
Driving westbound on 69th Ave N, the vehicle in question chose to flee from officers instead of yielding and was shortly found by the pursuing officers, who gave up the chase near Lakeland Ave. N and 70th Ave. N for reasons yet detailed. The abandoned car was discovered parked within a short distance from where the chase ended, haunting the quiet suburban streets with its silent presence.
The search for the driver continued as they managed to evade capture following the termination of the pursuit. A police spokesperson reported that the suspect vehicle was located unoccupied, leaving officers to canvas the area in an attempt to find any leads on the fugitive's whereabouts.
