The Santa Rosa Police Department (SRPD) has issued a call to the public for assistance in locating Nacomee Paula Perez, a 44-year-old woman and resident of Santa Rosa, who is currently wanted for attempted murder. As detailed by the Santa Rosa Police Department, Perez is believed to have stabbed a female acquaintance multiple times during a dispute at approximately 4:10 a.m. today. Perez stands 5 feet 3 inches tall and weighs about 180 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes, and should be considered armed and dangerous.
In the wake of the assault, which took place in the 2600 block of McBride Lane, Santa Rosa, the victim, aged 34 and a Graton resident, was swiftly transported to a local hospital by friends after sustaining at least five stab wounds to her upper torso. The victim is currently in stable condition and is expected to recover. Santa Rosa detectives are actively investigating and have urged the community to aid in locating Perez by contacting the Santa Rosa Police Department at 707-528-5222 with any relevant information.
An active warrant has been issued for Perez's arrest for the attempted murder. The Sonoma County Alliance Community Engagement and Safety Rewards Fund is offering a reward of up to $2,500 for information that directly leads to locating and arresting Perez. Authorities caution the public not to engage with the suspect directly but to contact law enforcement immediately if they know Perez's whereabouts.
