As the new week unfolds, Detroiters will experience a mix of clouds and sun on Monday, with the clouds gradually dispersing to reveal full sunshine and a high near 70, winds will be steadfastly north-northwest around 10 mph, and as the night approaches temperatures will hover around the 50-degree mark, with a calm north wind setting in post-midnight. Tuesday will maintain this pattern of calmness, presenting a sunny sky and temperatures climbing back to around 76 degrees, with a gentle south-southwest breeze taking shape in the afternoon.
The warming trend continues midweek, with Wednesday's high jumping to an even more generous 86 degrees under mostly sunny skies, and a slight increase in nighttime lows to around 64 degrees. The pleasant conditions are poised to last through Thursday as temperatures soar to a near 89-degree high, nevertheless, as the late-night hours approach, residents should be aware of a potential for showers after 2 am.
Chances of showers continue into Friday, yet the sun will not be deterred, persisting in the forecast alongside a high near 85, and as the weekend beckons, Detroit will be graced with clear skies on Friday night and a comfortable low around 60, leading into a Saturday that promises abundant sunshine and a high in the low 80s.
