According to information obtained directly from a CenterPoint Energy bulletin, the crews have finished installing the steel main on 58th Street W. from Xerxes Avenue S. to Upton Avenue S., and significant work has been done on Upton Avenue S. up to 5712 Upton Avenue S.
Likely running into the late August or early September timeframe, the Michels teams are set to continue installing the steel main along Upton Avenue S., stretching out to 55th Street W. Restoration activities on 58th Street W. are being prepped this week and are slated for completion around mid-July, stretching from Washburn Avenue S. to Upton Avenue S. Under the watch of Michels Corporation, the latest phase of construction involves meticulous efforts to maintain the integrity of Minneapolis's infrastructure. As part of this city's fabric and future, CenterPoint Energy remains committed to minimizing disruptions.
